Feed Our Health Workers by Bidding; Take Home an Artwork
Via an online art auction, FilipinoArt.ph, together with a group of generous Filipino visual artists, is raising funds to feed our health workers amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Every P85 donation will help prepare a home-cooked meal for our medical frontliners.
ACT NOW: Choose your artwork and place your bid in the comment section HERE.
Compared to Filipino health workers who work abroad, our health workers who choose to stay in the Philippines have been undervalued and underpaid. Did you know that the average salary of a government nurse is only around P12,000 to P18,000 monthly? And in this time of the COVID-19 pandemic, these modern-day heroes are in the frontlines risking their lives – some even face harassment and discrimination.
The auction’s proceeds will be donated to FrontlinersPH, which has been organized by Monica Pantaleon and Isabel Regino.
Recent food donations were already sent to the Nephrology Center of Pasig City, Manila Medical Center, AFP Medical Center, National Mental Health Center, South Superhighway Medical Center, UHBI Paranaque Doctors Hospital, Unihealth Paranaque Hospital and Medical Center, Calalang General Hospital, Fatima University Medical Center, and Valenzuela City General Hospital, among others.
